There is something extraordinary about the bond a mother has with her unborn child. Let me be a part of your journey by allowing me to capture these remarkable moments which you will cherish for the rest of your life. A maternity photography session should take place during the 30-34th week of your pregnancy. You have a choice of studio or outdoor photo session. Partners and siblings are encouraged to participate. Welcome to the EB photography studio.
The first room you’ll see when you visit is an entrance/gallery. I decided to display some of my favorite images here. I really wanted people to feel like they entered an art gallery. Most images are of expecting mothers and newborn babies. On the table I feature some of the photographic products I offer, such as folio boxes, canvases, matted and acrylic prints and others. I truly believe in printed photos. Digitals are great but there’s nothing like flipping through an album or seeing a beautiful image on the wall. You can see more of my favorite images in the site galleries here.
Walking through the sliding door you enter the main studio space. To the right is where I photograph. I have several backdrop colors but my got-to are gray and beige seamless paper from Savage. My favorite light source is a strobe with a large umbrella modifier that delivers an even, soft light.
To the right is the client area. While I photograph the baby, they can watch TV, play video games or read. Some of my clients even take a nap. There are also toys here to occupy busy toddlers that join us for family photos with the newborn. These types of sessions are quite long, usually around 3 hours.
Towards the back is where clients can grab a snack or drink. That’s also where I store most of my props and placed 2 wardrobe stands with dresses for moms and toddler girls.

My goal was to create a tranquil atmosphere in my maternity and newborn studio so my that clients feel comfortable and relaxed.
